Figure 101 - Percentage
Share of Transportation-Related Final Demand by Type: 1990–2001
Excel | CSV | Table Version

NOTES: Total
transportation-related final demand is the sum of all consumer, private
business, and government purchases of transportation-related goods and
services, and net exports (i.e., transportation imports subtracted from
transportation exports). Gross private domestic investment constitutes
railroad and petroleum pipelines only.
All dollar amounts are expressed in chained 1996
dollars, unless otherwise specified. Current dollar amounts (which are
available in appendix B of this report) were adjusted to eliminate the
effects of inflation over time.
