NOTES: Transportation-related
goods are motor vehicles and parts,
aircraft and spacecraft and parts, railway vehicles and parts, and ships and
boats. Totals may not equal the sum of parts due to rounding.
All dollar amounts are in current dollars. These data have not been adjusted
for inflation because there is no specific deflator available for
transportation-related goods. In addition, it is difficult to control for
trading partners' inflation rates as well as currency exchange fluctuations
when adjusting the value of internationally traded goods and services for
inflation.
