NOTES: Total transportation-related final
demand is the sum of all consumer, private
business, and government purchases of transportation-related goods and
services, plus net exports (i.e., the difference between transportation
imports and transportation exports).
To eliminate the effects of inflation over time, the Bureau of
Transportation Statistics converted current dollars (see table 9-2b) to
chained 2000 dollars.
