Daytime hours (between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.) are generally the busiest portion of the day and are representative of typical delays encountered by the majority of vehicles. Wait times can, however, vary considerably by crossing, time of day, and day of the week, and the actual delays that occur on occasion may be substantially longer than the averages represented above.
