Employment in transportation supporting industries accounts for over half of total transportation-related industry employment. Automotive dealers and service stations employ the most people among transportation supporting industries. Employment of automotive dealers and service stations decreased 0.08percent in February 2002. At the same time, employment of motor vehicle and equipment manufacturing increased 2.96 percent.
