Data Elements for Importer Security Filing (commonly called "10+2")
Importers are required to provide the following 10 data elements:
- Seller or owner name and address
- Buyer or consignee name and address
- Importer of record number/foreign trade zone applicant identification number
- Consignee number(s)
- Manufacturer (or supplier) name and address
- Ship-to party name and address
- Country of origin
- Commodity Harmonized Tariff Schedule U.S. number
- Container stuffing location
- Consolidator (stuffer) name and address
Carriers are required to provide the following 2 additional data elements:
- Vessel stow plan
- Container status messages regarding loaded containers destined for the United States
