These goods and services include food, lodging, recreation, gifts, entertainment, and other items incidental to a foreign visit. Passenger faresThe passenger fare accounts cover fares paid by residents of one country to airline and vessel operators (carriers) of another country. Receipts consist of fares received by U.S. air carriers from foreign residents for travel between the United States and foreign countries and between two foreign points and for travel on U.S. cruise vessels. Payments consist of fares paid by U.S. residents to foreign air carriers for travel between the United States and foreign countries and for travel on foreign cruise vessels.
