NOTE: Includes domestic and international scheduled services. Revenue passenger-miles (RPM) are a measure of the volume of air passenger transportation. An RPM is equal to one paying passenger carried one mile. Available seat-miles (ASM) are a measure of capacity of air passenger transportation. An ASM is equal to one aircraft seat carried one mile. Load factor is a measure of the use of aircraft capacity that compares RPMs as a proportion of ASMs.
