1 An active pilot is a person who holds a pilot certificate and a valid medical certificate issued within the last 25 months.

A recreational pilot may fly no more than one passenger in a light, single engine aircraft with no more than four seats during good weather and daylight hours and, unless authorized, no more than 50 miles from the home airport.
