HOURLY EARNINGS OF WORKERS IN TRUCKING AND PUBLIC WAREHOUSING SERVICES
Average Hourly Earnings of Production Workers by Industry (monthly data, not seasonally adjusted)
Measured in current dollars, the average hourly earnings of workers in trucking and courier services and in warehousing continued to increase in April 2001. These increases, however, were roughly equivalent to the increase in the cost of living in the same period. When the inflation effect was removed, the hourly earnings of workers in the two industries remained almost flat over the one-year period.
