Map - Designated High-Speed Rail Corridors: 2000

There are three types of corridors:

  • Northeast Corridor
  • Designated corridors prior to October 2000
  • New designations, extensions, and California clarification as of October 2000.

There are 11 corridors in the continental U.S.:

  • California Corridor
  • Chicago Hub
  • Empire Corridor
  • Gulf Coast Corridor
  • Florida Corridor
  • Keystone Corridor
  • Northern New England Corridor
  • Northeast Corridor
  • Pacific Northwest Corridor
  • Southeast Corridor
  • South Central Corridor
