NOTES: 2002 data are preliminary. Although final 2002 Commodity Flow Survey data were available when this report was prepared, final 2002 supplemental data were still forthcoming. For information on coverage of preliminary supplemental estimates, see table 1-11 in appendix B.

To eliminate the effects of inflation over time, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics converted current dollars to chained 2000 dollars.
