NOTES: A minor injury is one in which the victim was treated and released. A serious injury is one in which the victim was either hospitalized or treated and transferred to another facility, was dead on arrival, or died in the emergency room. A pedalcyclist is a person on a vehicle that is powered solely by pedals. Injuries for which age and sex were unknown or unrecorded in the original data are not included. See table 3-7 in appendix B for further details.
