Data do not include self-employed or independent contractors and therefore differ from the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ occupational employment projections (https://www.bls.gov/emp/), which includes these workers. Totals differ because occupational statistics are collected from a different survey than the survey used to collect annual industrial employment. “Transportation-related occupations” refers to these occupations.
