TEU = twenty-foot equivalent unit.

This map of the United States shows top container ports by twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) in 2022. At each port, a pie chart shows the number of imports, exports, and domestic commodities by TEU. At the Port of Alaska; Honolulu, O’ahu; San Juan; Jacksonville; and South Jersey Port Corporation most commodities are domestic. At the Port of New Orleans, most commodities are exports. At all other ports, most commodities are imports.
