Numbers of People in Areas of Significant Noise Exposure Around U.S. Airports 2000-2021

A bar graph showing the number of people living in areas of significant noise exposure around U.S. airports from 2000 to 2021. The most noise exposure was in 2000 and 2001. Noise levels have decline since then until 2009. From 2009 through 2015, the people exposed has stayed the same but has increased from 2016 to 2019. There has been a decrease in 2020 and then a slight increase in 2021.
