The Journal of Transportation and Statistics (JT&S) was a peer-reviewed journal published by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics from 1998 to 2014. JT&S published original research in transportation information and data, theory, concepts, and methods of analysis relevant to all aspects of the transportation system.

Topics included:

• measuring transportation activity and the performance of transportation systems
• quantifying and analyzing the importance of transportation and its consequences
• measuring and analyzing transportation trends
• advancing the science of acquiring, validating, managing, and disseminating transportation information
• calculating sustainable energy
• analyzing data for transportation planning and operations

The views presented in the articles in JT&S are those of the authors and not necessarily the views of the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. All material contained in JT&S is in the public domain and may be used and reprinted without special permission; citation as to sources is required.
