What is BTS?

How is this site organized?

The items under the top menu Topics and Geography allow you to dive into BTS content through your general area of interest, including a specific mode of transportation.

If you know the name of the BTS product you're looking for, you can most likely find it under the top menu, Statistical Products and Data. If you can't find it there, try the A-Z Index, available at the top of every page, which offers a more comprehensive list.

And, you can't go wrong by starting with our Search box, available at the top of every page.

Show me the data!

In addition to statistics, reports, and analysis, BTS also provides direct access to the Federal government's most authoritative and comprehensive transportation data. If you're ready to explore the data, try TranStats  for commercial aviation data or data.bts.gov for other topic areas.
