WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Transportation today released its June 2020 Air Travel Consumer Report (ATCR) on reporting marketing and operating air carrier data compiled for the month of April 2020. U.S. and foreign airlines carried 21% less cargo by weight between the U.S. and foreign points in April 2020 than in April 2019, including a 44% decline in cargo between the U.S. and Europe, according to data filed with the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) by large air carriers.
