2022 1st Quarter U.S. Airline Financial Data

U.S. airline financial reports are filed quarterly with the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS). See the tables that accompany this release on the BTS website for additional first-quarter (Tables 1-6) financial results.

March 2022 U.S. Airline Traffic Data

U.S. airlines carried 69.4 million systemwide (domestic and international) scheduled service passengers in March 2022, seasonally-adjusted, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS), up 4.3% from February.

Seasonally-adjusted, BTS reported 61.8 million domestic passengers and 7.6 million international passengers on U.S. airlines flights in March.
