For 2005, data for federally regulated Pipelines were estimated to include about 90 percent of the total national ton-miles, so the Pipeline statistics for that year were adjusted to include an additional 10 percent of ton-miles. From 1990 through 2004, the federally regulated estimate was 84 percent with a 16 percent addition for other Pipeline ton-miles.
