O&D Segment File (DB1C)

This file contains segment-level data (by direction of travel) including carriers providing service, segment origin and segment destination for each itinerary.A segment of travel corresponds to a single uninterrupted flight from takeoff to landing.This table only contains segments that are formed from coupons with Via Point values.

 

A coupon that has no Via Point is also a segment record. To calculate all passengers traveling in a segment a user must identify all coupons with null for Via Point from the Coupon file and add them to all segments in the Segment file.
