The right y-axis represents the share of workers and ranges from 0 to 20 percent. The x-axis represents years and ranges from 1980 through 2024. The number of individuals working from home remained under 5 percent (between 2 million and 6 million workers) from 1980 to 2010, increased slightly to 5.7 percent (about 9 million workers) in 2019
