The Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) today updated its web page with October data. The release consists of U.S. carrier summary data and domestic route data through October and U.S. and foreign carrier international data through July.

Data are compiled from monthly reports filed with BTS by commercial air carriers detailing operations, passenger traffic and freight traffic. Today’s release consists of reports from 78 U.S. and foreign airlines.

BTS has scheduled Feb 14 for the release of the first estimate of January air traffic data, the second estimate of the December air traffic data and reported data through November.
