Motor Fuel Prices – June 2025

Today, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) released monthly motor fuels prices for June 2025. 

In June 2025, the average price for regular motor gasoline was $3.15 per gallon; unchanged from May 2025 and down 8.8% from June 2024.

By region, the average price for regular motor gasoline in June 2025 was and year-over-year change:

  • West Coast: 4.15 (down 4.7%)
  • Rocky Mountain: 3.14 (down 5.3%)
  • Central Atlantic: 3.14 (down 11.6%)
  • Midwest: 3.02 (down 8.8%)
  • New England: 3.00 (down 12.9%)
  • Lower Atlantic: 2.92 (down 10.6%)

The average price for diesel no. 2 rose to $3.60 in June 2025, up 2.9% from May 2025, and down 3.3% from June 2024.
