December 2011 Airline System Traffic Up 0.5 Percent from December 2010

Thursday, March 22, 2012 - The U.S. Department of Transportations Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today that U.S. airlines carried 58.9 million scheduled domestic and international passengers in December 2011, 0.6 percent more domestic passengers and 0.3 percent more international passengers than in December 2010. 

January 2012 Airline System Traffic Up 1.1 Percent from January 2011

Tuesday, April 24, 2012 - The U.S. Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today that U.S. airlines carried 54.3 million scheduled domestic and international passengers in January 2012, 1.3 percent more domestic passengers and 0.4 percent fewer international passengers than in January 2011.

February 2012 Airline System Traffic Up 6.1 Percent from February 2011

U.S. airlines carried 107.6 million total system passengers during the first two months of 2012, up 3.7 percent from the same period in 2011 (Table 2). Domestically, they carried 93.5 million passengers, up 3.9 percent from 2011 (Table 8). Internationally, they carried 14.1 million passengers, up 1.9 percent from 2011 (Table 14). Thursday, July 19, 2012 - The U.S. Department of Transportations Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today that U.S. airlines carried 61.5 million scheduled domestic and international passengers in April 2012, 1.5 percent more domestic passengers and 1.7 percent more international passengers than in April 2011.

June 2012 Airline System Traffic Up 0.6 Percent from June 2011

Friday, September 21, 2012 - The U.S. Department of Transportations Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today that U.S. airlines carried 66.6 million scheduled domestic and international passengers in June 2012, 0.2 percent more domestic passengers and 2.8 percent more international passengers than in June 2011.

Wednesday, October 24, 2012 - The U.S. Department of Transportations Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today that U.S. airlines carried 69.2 million scheduled domestic and international passengers in July 2012, 1.1 percent fewer domestic passengers and 1.0 percent fewer international passengers than in July 2011.
