May 2017 U.S. Airline Traffic Data

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today that passenger enplanements on all U.S. scheduled airlines reached a new seasonally adjusted all-time high of 70.9 million in May, rising 0.7 percent from April for the third consecutive monthly increase.

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today that U.S. airlines’ April systemwide (domestic and international) scheduled service passenger enplanements rose 0.9 percent from March, rising for the second consecutive month to 70.3 million, an all-time seasonally-adjusted monthly high in which enplanements have exceeded 70 million for the first time.
