BTS Port Performance Freight Statistics Annual Report Released
Friday, January 19, 2018 - The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) has released Port Performance Freight Statistics Program: Annual Report to Congress 2017. This report is the second edition of the annual report from the BTS Port Performance Freight Statistics Program established by the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act of 2015.
November 2017 Passenger Airline Employment Data
U.S. scheduled passenger airlines employed 3.3 percent more workers in November 2017 than in November 2016, reaching 429,946 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today. November was the 49th consecutive month that U.S. scheduled passenger airline FTEs exceeded the same month of the previous year.
