Airline Service Quality Performance Data – March 2026

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) today released its Airline Service Quality Performance data compiled for the month of March 2026 for on-time performance, mishandled baggage, mishandled wheelchairs, and scooters.

The line chart shows the number of scheduled flights operated by Marketing Network carriers and their branded codeshare partners, after cancellations, over a two-year period leading up to the current data release. In March 2024, approximately 653,000 flights were operated, increasing slightly to 657,000 in March 2025, which reflects steady year-over-year growth. This generally upward trend continued through late 2025.
