The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) today released its monthly update to National Transportation Statistics (NTS), a guide to historical national-level transportation trends.

This month’s updated data tables include Number of Air Carriers, Railroads, Interstate Motor Carriers, Marine Vessel Operators, and Pipeline Operators, Personal Watercraft and Recreational Boating Safety Data, U.S. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Attributed to For-Hire Transportation Services, Contributions to the U.S. GDP,  National Transportation and Economic Trends, Price Trends of Gasoline versus Other Consumer Goods and Services, and U.S. Energy Consumption by the Transportation Sector and by Mode.
