June 2024 U.S. Airline Traffic Data Up 6.7% from the Same Month Last Year
U.S. airlines carried 89.7 million systemwide (domestic and international) scheduled service passengers in June 2024, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS). When adjusted for seasonality, June enplanements are up 2.8% from May and reached a new all-time high the all-time high reached in June 2024.
BTS reported 77.2 million domestic passengers and 12.5 million international passengers on U.S. airlines flights in June, not adjusting for seasonality.

Section 7308 of the FAST Act requires DOT to assemble and collect data on rail tank cars transporting Class 3 flammable liquids.
