BTS Updates National Transportation Statistics 08/31/2023

The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) today released its monthly update to National Transportation Statistics (NTS), a guide to historical national-level transportation trends.

This month’s updated data tables include U.S. Public Road and Street Mileage by Functional System, Condition of Urban Bus and Rail Transit Maintenance Facilities, Age and Availability of Amtrak Locomotive and Car Fleets, Roadway Vehicle-Miles Traveled and Passenger Miles Traveled, Airport Screening, State Laws on Distracted Driving, Modal Operating Revenues, Amtrak Fuel Consumption and Travel, and Air Pollution Trends.
