The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) today released its monthly update to National Transportation Statistics (NTS), a guide to historical national-level transportation trends.


This month’s updated data tables include System Mileage, Number of U.S. Airports, Oil and Gas Pipeline Mileage, Conditions of Airport Runway Pavement and Highway Bridges, Passenger-Miles, Principal Means of Transportation to Work, Highway-Rail Grade-Crossing Safety and Property Damage Data, Pipeline Safety, Transportation Energy Consumption by Mode, Transportation Energy Intensity of Light Duty Vehicles and Motorcycles, Transportation-Related Greenhouse Gas Emissions, and Air Carrier Profile.
