BTS Updates National Transportation Statistics 12/01/2023
The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) today released its monthly update to National Transportation Statistics (NTS), a guide to historical national-level transportation trends.
This month’s updated data tables include- System Mileage Within the United States; Vehicle, Aircraft, and Vessel Inventory; U.S. Vehicle-Miles and Passenger-Miles; Hazardous Materials Fatalities, Injuries, Accidents, and Property Damage; Pipeline Safety; Safety Belt and Motorcycle Helmet Use, Energy Consumption by Mode of Transportation; and Energy Intensity of Certified Air Carriers and Transit Motor Buses.
